Privacy Policy

Who we are

This website is operated on behalf of Dr Nadine Ali, Consultant Cardiologist. For any questions about this policy or how your information is handled, contact b.sagoo1@nhs.net.

What information we collect

When you use the enquiry form on our Contact page, we collect your full name, phone number, email address, the appointment type you select, and any message you choose to write.

Why we ask you not to share sensitive medical detail

The enquiry form is not a secure clinical messaging system, so we deliberately ask you to keep initial enquiries limited to your contact details and a short summary. Anything more detailed or sensitive is discussed securely once your appointment is arranged, and never over an unsecured web form.

How we use your information

We use the information you submit solely to respond to your enquiry and arrange a consultation. We do not use it for marketing, and we do not sell or share it with third parties for marketing purposes.

Legal basis for processing

We process your information on the basis of your consent (by submitting the form) and our legitimate interest in responding to healthcare enquiries.

Who we share it with

Enquiry details are sent directly to Dr Ali and her secretary by email. Where NHS email addresses are used, your information is subject to NHS Digital's standards for secure email handling. We do not share your details with any other third party, except where required by law.

Third-party services

Our Contact page embeds a Google Map to show our clinic location. If you interact with it, Google's own privacy practices apply — see Google's Privacy Policy.

How long we keep your information

We keep your information only as long as necessary to deal with your enquiry and provide the care you've requested, in line with standard medical record retention guidance.

Your rights

Under UK data protection law, you have the right to access, correct, or request erasure of your personal information, to restrict or object to our processing of it, and to request a copy of it in a portable format. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) if you have concerns about how your data is handled.

Security

We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect the information you share with us.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page.
